The Executive Director is pleased to announce that Karima Muyaes will be joining the Museum Advisory Council to fill the place left by the passing of Dr. Bryan Stevens.  Señora Muyaes is a Mexican national resident in Ciudad de México.  She is a professional artist with an international reputation and a lifetime of study of Mexican mask traditions.  Her father, Jaled Muyaes, was also an artist who traveled extensively around Mexico, amassing an enormous collection of culturally used dance masks. Her expertise in Mexican masquerade will be invaluable to the Museum, and we thank her for her participation.
